Skywhales: Every heart sings is coming to Albury next week. Every heart sings is a project that talks about nature, family, evolution, care and wonder.

Skywhales: Every heart sings is a National Gallery of Australia Touring Event, supported by Principal Partner the Naomi Milgrom Foundation and Visions of Australia. Skywhales: Every heart sings is the third instalment of The Balnaves Contemporary Series and is a Know My Name project.

Shapes of the Skywhale drop in activities

Drop into the Library Museum and Lavington Library from 10.00 am - 1.00 pm Monday - Friday to create your own astonishing creatures to be displayed as a digital collage on the big screen during Skywhales at Sunrise at Lavington Sports Ground.


Digital collection, research and reference resources including Australian and International encyclopedias, science and history databases, essay writing and study help guides.

Preschool programs

We host regular storytime sessions and special one-off programs for pre-schoolers throughout the year.

It’s never too early to start enjoying books and stories. Bring your little ones along for songs, rhymes and all the fun of a great story. Programs do not run during the NSW School holidays.
